Free Printable Pagan Beltane Cards, Wiccan May Day, Walpurgis Night Crafts

Much is known about Christian and national holidays. Many Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh and Hindu celebrations are familiar. The holidays that are least known (and ironcially some of the oldest) are pagan or wiccan. April 30 and May 1 celebrate May Day, also called Beltane or Walpurgisnacht (Feast of St. Walpurgia Night). Celtic, druids (I think), saxons and Germanic tribes celebrated May Day as a spring fertility rite with dancing round the May Pole, flowers, fire and other wiccan elements. Here are free printable Wiccan greeting cards, crafts, coloring pages and resources for holidays (or as they're called by pagans "sabbats"). Use these to share with Wiccan friends in spring celebrations. May Day should probably be considered a PG-13 holiday for as acts of intimacy may be involved. And kids should learn in age-appropriate ways about all holidays as part of a broader culture study. This article focuses on imbolc but has Beltane activities, too.  Free Printable Pagan Imbolc Activities, Wiccan Sabbat Crafts
