Advent began December 1 for Catholics and Orthodox Christians. This season counts down to Christmas. As a homeschool family, we did Christmas crafts all through Advent and gave them as gifts. I set up a craft station using our portable kidde picnic table (cleaned it up and brought it inside). That way the little ones could craft while I did lessons, then the olders ones joined in when finished. I used cheap, recycled materials to save money. Advent is the religious season preceding the Feast of Christmas. The Advent Season begins four Sundays before Christmas and lasts from 21-28 days depending upon when the first Sunday of Advent falls.
